Straws
By Francesca Pasquali
“The world is made of plastic, so much is thrown away. Through my art I want to send a message to the world around us inviting everyone to rethink commonly used objects no longer as disposable objects, but as resources to be re-used”
Francesca Pasquali is dedicated to detail. The attention she pays to her work is nearly scientific in her analysis of forms. The circumferences of Straws remind us of the eyes of a fly under a microscope, the sinuous folds of the Frappa recall the epidermis of a beetle, and the filaments of Spiderballs resemble the crystals of zeolite as seen under a microscope!
